Bernie Bezuidenhout
A former South African national representative, Bernie brings elite-level playing experience and midfield expertise to the coaching field. She competed at national level in both the U16 and U18 squads, known for her sharp decision-making, on-field vision, and relentless drive.
Now based in Canterbury, Bernie is passionate about developing young players—not just technically, but holistically. Her coaching style is encouraging and strategic, focused on helping athletes grow in confidence, tactical understanding, and love for the game. Whether players are new to hockey or aspiring to high performance, Bernie brings the same commitment she showed on the field to every session.
